Open call: Studio Residencies at BEK (video and electronics)

We are reopening our studios and spaces for short term project residencies at BEK. If you are working on an art project involving sound, moving image or electronics you are welcome to apply for a residency in one of our studios for a period of 2-4 weeks. The residencies are open to professional artists and we prioritise projects that are experimental in their use of technology, or interrogate its relationship to art and society. We offer our facilities and equipment, and expect artists to work independently, however Studio Residents are also able to apply for advice sessions with our in-house experts to help with specific project needs.

Deadline 27 August 2021! 13.09.2021–31.12.2021

Work Residency: Hilde Annine Hasselberg

The sound material will mainly be developed in Ableton Live with the use of natural sounds related to the story being told in the work. During the concert, this sound material will function both as an audible backdrop and as an instrument that Hasselberg can use live on stage.

In the sound studio 28.06.2021–04.07.2021
In the sound studio 02.08.2021–03.08.2021
