Performance Nå 4 is curated by Karen Kiphoff(PAB) and presents artists who in different ways work at the interface between performance art and electronic art.
BEK is involved in the light festival in Solund in November 2013. Anne Marthe Dyvi and HC Gilje are participating artists and have contributed to the development of the format.

BEK and Bergen Public Library has collaborated on development of Bergen Leser – Sammen!, an installation for reading aloud. Here citizens of Bergen and users of the library can contribute towards a collective reading of litterature for a web audience by means of a digital installation. Opens Friday 18. October at 19.00.
Moviestar is an interactive installation that moulds old and new media together in order to create a real-life moving filmset. Classic film, animation, robotics, sound and motion tracking are utilised to simulate a movie scene where visitors play the main role. Movistar is co-produced by BIT-Teatergarasjen and BEK, and presented at the Meteor Festival, opening Thursday October 17 – kl. 17:00
Writings is a new sound art installation by Signe Lidén. The realisation of the work was made in collaboration with Roar Sletteland. All electronics are developed and manufactored at BEK. Writings will tour 3 countries as part of the Resonance Network Program.
Elisabeth Færøy Lund, together with a crew, has been working on an art video to accompany Hanne Kolstø´s new album, Stillness and Panic. The video, based on her idea, was shot in august at Bontelabo and Bergen Kjøtt. BEK has supported the video with equipment.
Re: place is an art research project 2013-14 investigating (relationships between) place, time and memory as manifested in artistic works exploring image, sound, text – or combinations of these, in collaboration between KHIB, Oslo Academy of Art (KHIO) and The Grieg Academy. Trond Lossius is engaged by KHIB as project leader, and Anne Marthe Dyvi of BEK is among the contributing artists researchers. The main artistic outcome is a pair of exhibitions in Sandnes in the fall 2013.
In august 2013 Piya Wanthiang, aspirant at BEK, travelled to her hometown village in the North East of Thailand, to explore possibilities of using live stream of the landscape as basis for upcoming installations and experiments. BEK supported the project with equipment, mentoring and time.
