March 11th BEK will present an evening event at gallery KNIPSU in Bergen. The first edition of Rad is a presentation, installation, lecture and concert. Participants are Ellen Røed, Espen Sommer Eide, Maia Urstad, Steinar Bøyum, Anne Marthe Dyvi, Hans Knut Sveen and Knipsu Soundsystem.

Claudio Forlini has started the shooting of his new film project “VAMPYR”, an experimental sound art film, though without sharp canine teeth or perforated arteries. Still the essence of vampirism will be highly present.
Ressentiment – Pavane til en død prinsesse premieres at DNS Thuesday 23. November at 19.00, and is played the following 4 days.
In the performance we follow a scientist who in his meeting with a scientific committee, discloses his test results but gets bigger and bigger problems, and is ultimately rejected. In this manner Transiteatret adresses natural science’s tendency to describe people using fixed sizes, and what this might entail.

Jeremy Welsh and Trond Lossius is participating at the
6th International Conference on Small Island Cultures

They will be presenting Ghost Architecture, an audio-visual performance based on material recorded around the sites of 2nd. world war German fortifications on islands off the west coast of Norway, near Bergen.
A preview of Transiteatret’s new show Ressentiment – Pavane til en død prinsesse will be staged on June 5. at Trålerrederiet in Stamsund.
What new and – until now unknown – drama is being produced when new naturalistic research creeps out of the laboratory windows, turn into talkshow-entertainment in public channels before it ends up as part of our understanding of ourselves?
