Vampyr

Vampyr is basically a sound art film, in which a multi-speaker system will play sounds that act as the character’s thinking, replacing dialogues.
Main inspiration is the mutual energy exchange between human beings that sometimes becomes a real vampire phenomenon, in an extreme meaning, taking away another person’s life.
Technically the pictures will represent a symbolic image of the humans thoughts, and the biggest part of the work is the post-production, with the editing of audio and video in a strightly interlaced way.
A big effort to the harmonic sounds will be given from the Entropia feedback machine built at BEK. It will be recorded in live sessions, played watching the images. Other sounds like ambient sounds, voices, noises, etc. will be recorded during the shooting of the film with a sound-field microphone and a multitrack recorder. Together, this will create a soundtrack which constitutes this film’s special characteristics.
