Reality-based Audio Workshop – Struer

Reality-based Audio Workshop will work experimentally with documentary audio recordings in Struer 23.08 – 07.09.2019 to create a new sound piece to be presented during Struer Tracks 2019. The group will address issues around ‘land use’ to highlight changes in the landscape that is happening because of our ever-increasing reliance on digital, global communications.

Erin Sexton: Contingency Planning

Erin Sexton will be in residence at BEK September 2nd – 15th with her project Contingency Planning in collaboration with dance artist Yohei Hamada. Formatted as a 2-day workshop September 10th and 12th and exhibition/happening event September 13th, this is an open-structure exploration of sci-fi strategies, collective movement, and metaphysical sculpture.

Workshop: ReFORM with Pladask Elektrisk

ReFORM is a groundbreaking and experimental multi-effect pedal developed by Pladask Elektrisk and BandOrg. The pedal is based on FORM2, but has updated programs and updated hardware. The pedal and workshop are about exploring and understanding granular synthesis, time stretch and manipulating sample playback.

COURSE: Mixing and Production for Contemporary Disco

Avgarde and BEK invite to this course in mixing and production, where you will learn to create a great and catchy commercial techno song with Ableton Live. The course is especially intended for composers who want to contribute with danceable contemporary music to contemporary music disco. Course leader will be Vegard Bolstad, who has held several courses in Ableton Live.
