In this workshop you will build your own unique DIY digital effect pedal based on the Raspberry PI computer and Csound. Particpants are guided in mechanical fitting, soldering of connections, and are given a basic software introduction.

As part of a short term residency at SCRIME Trond Lossius participates in a three day workshop on ambisonics and field recording. The workshop will be used to test out new ambisonic recording gear at SCRIME, field recordings and listening sessions, and offer an introduction to how to work with ambisonics in Reaper using the Ambisonic Toolkit.

Kan de vise oss lyd i større grad som en kunstnerisk disiplin? Hvordan kan lyd ha et mye større fokus allerede i startfasen av en scenekunstproduksjon, utstilling eller konsert?
Six female experimental musicians from Cairo visit Borealis 2016, giving a concert at Østre. While in Bergen they will also be introduced to surround and ambisonic sound and music production during a workshop in collaboration between Borealis, BEK and Lydgalleriet.
Marieke Verbiesen at BEK will give a workshop in basic audiovisual recording and editing techniques Tuesday 26. & Wednesday 27. January from 18:00 to 21:00. BEK’s video equipment will be available for practical training. The workshop is free, please sign up via email: bekatbekdotno
