Visus Tactus Gustus by Clare and Marsh

In the Project Space, Hordaland Kunstsenter presents Visus Tactus Gustus by Eleanor Clare and Dillan Marsh. In this installation of new works the artist duo take inspiration from Munkeliv kloster. The exhibition includes a 6 channel sound installation, for which Clare and Marsh used the studio at BEK to make vocal recordings and got technical and artistic guidance throughout the process.

Opening of Latent City

Welcome to the opening of Latent City 12 November from 19.00 – live streamed directly to you from Bergen Kjøtt! The opening night presents the launch of the VUMA Soner app, performances by Kaeto Sweeney and Gitte Sætre & Frans Jacobi, video screening of Tivon Rice, and a DJ set from Jiska Huizing.

Please note that the opening will be streamed only, due to current covid-19 restriction in Bergen.

“Temporary Museum: Microscopic Power of Food Practices” by GaraGara Artist Initiative

See the digital presentation of the installation here. Can artistic methods be used to critically engage with present day behaviours around eating and consumption? TM:MPFP is an artistic speculation on food practices in relation to health, politics, culture and society. Food-biopolitics questions how the agency of food relates to genes, cell fragments, proteins, enzymes, bacteria and fungi and in a larger context to contemporary politics. GaraGara explores ideas related to food-biopolitics on a local and international scale.
