Welcome to presentations with Timo Hoogland, Mark van den Heuvel, Gerri Jaeger and Ideophone Records on Friday September 6 at 17.00! The first three are part of Loud Matter playing on Østre on Wednesday September 4, while Jiska Huizing and Rudi Valdersnes from Ideophone Records release their new album IDE002 the coming weekend.

Timo Hoogland
Timo Hoogland is a creative coder who works with with programming, algorithms, mathematics, science and visuals. He graduated from the Music and Technology department at University of Arts Utrecht in the Netherlands. Hoogland livecodes experimental electronic music with the new language Mercury and composes audiovisual pieces and software in Max/MSP. He will give a live coding demonstration during his presentation.

Mark van den Heuvel
Dutch electronic musician Mark van den Heuvel combines his eternal love for 8-bit, beats and basslines into inimitable live sets. Using classic Nintendo Gameboys, utilised and hacked to create lo-fi compositions and melodic hooks using minimal means, using unorthodox and creative hard- and software solutions.

Austrian drummer Gerri Jaeger will present his custom-made electro-acoustic effects rig that he has been working on for several years.

Ideophone Records
Jiska Huizing & Rudi Valdersnes of Ideophone Records will show their latest record IDE002 and the production and recording process that took place at BEK. This weekend they will give a release party in celebration of the record at Østre Hus for Lydkunst in collaboration with EKKO
