Join us for a hands-on experience working with microphones: capturing sounds and recording spaces. Consisting of re-visiting foundational microphone knowledge, a mic comparison: listening and picking your mic to get the most out of the space or situation and how to best enhance the recording setting. 

Time: 11 April, 15:00-19:00 
Place: BEK, C. Sundts gate 55

This workshop is free and suitable for cultural practitioners and artists with intermediate skills in sound recording, meaning you have worked a little with sound devices and mics before and are looking to polish up basic skills and learn more!

Elaine Tasia Maltezos

Elaine Tasia Maltezos is a recording engineer & producer at Nobel Lyd in Grieghallen. Maltezos’ passion is capturing music as it exists within a living, breathing space. She specializes in orchestral recording, with a modern approach built on traditional techniques.
