Lin Pei-Han is in a studio residency at BEK, preparing for three upcoming exhibitions in 2024.

Lin is currently working on a project that combines animation and video in BEK’s video studio, exploring border research and inherited historical trauma. The project will be showcased at Lin’s solo exhibitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Vadsø Kunstforening this summer, and in a group exhibition in fall in Taiwan.

Lin Pei-Han

Lin Pei-Han is a multidisciplinary artist whose research-based works encompass painting, moving images, sculpture, textile, video, architecture, installation, sound and text. Lin does site research between politics, environmental justice and human rights, and her methodologies initiate from empathy and include interview-based formats, computation and 3D printing.  Lin holds a B Arch in Architecture Design from Shin Chien University in Taipei, Taiwan, and MFAs in Fine Art from NTNU and UiT at Trondheim and Tromsø, Norway. Her work has been exhibited across Norway and internationally, including Norske Kunsthåndverkeres temautstilling, Bomuldsfabriken Kunsthall (Arendal 2024), Kristiansund Kunsthall 2023, Trøndelagsutstillingen at Trøndelag Centre for Contemporary Art (Trondheim 2023), Tromsø Kunstforening 2022, K-U-K (Trondheim 2023), Bodø Biennale 2022, Cultural places (Vienna 2020), and The InsideOut Gallery (Sacramento, CA 2021), among others.
