Johanne Øra Danielsen is the new Information manager at BEK

We are happy and proud to announce Johanne Øra Danielsen as a new member to the BEK team. From August 2023, Johanne is employed as the new information manager, and will continue to work on making BEK more visible, engaging and accessible. Departing information manager Åsne Hagen has worked in the position since 2021, and is now moving to Oslo to work with text full time.
-Johanne has been a vital contributor to the free cultural field in Bergen. With her rich and varied experience, nuanced knowledge and extensive networks across local creative environments, we at BEK are lucky to have Johanne join the staff, says Maria Rusinovskaya, director at BEK.
JOHANNE ØRA DANIELSEN
Johanne Øra Danielsen is a versatile producer, who has worked with communication and marketing, production, booking and logistics for several cultural organizations in Bergen. She has worked with electronic and experimental music and contemporary art at Østre and Ekko Festival for a number of years, and has recently been employed by Bergen International Festival. In addition, she organizes the noise club Bulldozer, and is a producer for the record label Ideophone Records.
