BEK in Liepaja
Published
Our new Project Developer at BEK Åse Løvgren and Director Lars Ove Toft will participate in Future DiverCities’ partner meeting in Liepaja, Latvia, September 25 – 27. We look forward to introducing Åse to the other partners and involving her in this big EU cooperation. Future DiverCities is entering its final phase, and in Liepaja plans for a comprehensive art program in Bergen in the spring of 2020 will be laid out. Stay tuned!
The city of Liepaja is one of the partners in Future DiverCities, and in addition to the partners meeting they invite to a conference on social innovations. The conference will analyze examples of how governments, citizens and various public organizations can orient themselves in the digital world, create attractive urban environments and use methods that attract people, develop arts and culture, talk about current issues and explain political decision making.
As the Future DiverCities project enters its final phase, many experiences, innovations and results need to be kept and continued. An important theme is how can the project be concluded in a way that becomes meaningful in the partners’ future work?
In the spring of 2020, the project’s last public art program will be launched in Bergen, with BEK as the leading partner. We look forward to telling you more about what’s going to happen – very soon!
