Miriam Myrstad is a second BA student at the Bergen Academy for Art and Design in Bergen. She works multi-disciplinary, with a special focus on text, video and sound-based art. Central to her practice is the development of alternative, relational and performative strategies: different possibilities for placement and scenography.

At Galleri fisk she will show “Vladimir Putins utrolige og bevegende fortelling om tilbakekomsten til feriehuset i Sochi, der han tilbragte sine tidlige somre” (2014) on the occasion of the Pobedy (Victory Day), Russia’s official commemoration of the Nazi capitulation.
