Aesthetics, engineering and purpose all come together in this course. As a participant, you will gain insight in how speakers work, as well as the possibilities and limitations of loudspeakers in an artistic context. The course is led by Roar Sletteland, artist and constructor of sound sculptures, and Paal Rasmussen, acoustic engineer and constructor of HiFi-speakers.

Through the two-day course, participants learn to build speakers for use in artistic practice. The course will focus on what the participants need and what they are into. Those who wish to do so, may start constructing a speaker for use in their own projects.

The course is produced by BEK and Lydgalleriet.
