Published
The two artists Jiska Huizing and Mathias Loose was part of our Croatian partner Kontejner’s lab from 21st – 31st of January 2019. The lab invited international artists with special focus on performance and media art, and the selection was curated by the partners in Future DiverCities. During a total of 10 days, the artistic team visited Zagreb and Rijeka.
The third lab of Kontjner welcomed five emerging artists: Valentin Durif, Lucas Paris, Elio Libaude, Jiska Huizing and Mathias Loose. The performance programme was curated by Fabien Fabre (Second Nature, France), Anne Marthe Dyvi (BEK, Norway) and Ena Hodžić (KONTEJNER, Croatia), and the presented artists were taking part in the workshop programme of the lab as well. The artists had the opportunity to present their performances to audiences in two Croatian cities, in the renowned institutions of Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb and Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka.
