Don’t touch me, you don’t know where I’ve been is to be a 30 minute work for speaker, flute, ensemble (piano, clarinet, guitar and percussion), and live and pre-recorded electronics. Written especially for flautist Bjørnar Habbestad, members of asamisimasa and the composer herself as vocalist, the piece will also draw on Habbestad’s extensive expertise as an improviser and on Pritchard’s own experience with the Bergen-based improvisation quintet FAT BATTERY. The electronics will be developed at BEK in Bergen and the work premiered at the city’s Borealis festival on Spring 2008.
