Artists working at BEK in 2024
Published
As many as 51 artists have immersed themselves in their projects during studio residencies at BEK throughout 2024. The artists are based in Bergen, Norway and internationally, and were invited on the basis of applications submitted to open calls.
Studio residencies at BEK give artists room to work on projects that are experimental in their use of technology, or interrogate technology’s relationship to art and society. The studios and equipment are available for exploration and experiments; BEK also shares our expertise through artistic and technological advice during the stay. Artists have the opportunity to present work-in-progress in relation to their residency.
Would you like to do a studio residency at BEK in 2025? The application deadline for the spring semester is already 5 January 2025. Read more here!
