Eva Ljosvoll

The video installations of Eva Ljosvoll analyzes how time is experienced on a personal level. The personal perseption of time could indicate an emoltional state. Moving photography shows rather the consequence, than the story that caused it. The non-narrative moving image is close to poetry. The chronology is irrelevant, the images stand next to each other and create a whole, like a vibrating chord.

Eva Ljosvoll is educated from Bergen Academy of Art and Design, Weissensee Kunsthochschule in Berlin, and Bergen University. She has participated in many group exhibitions, and the work I løse luften (Thin Air) is, among others, part of the collection of KODE – Bergen Art Museum. Ljosvoll is part of the studio collective Bergen Ateliergruppe.
