Welcome to presentations with Timo Hoogland, Mark van den Heuvel, Gerri Jaeger and Ideophone Records on Friday September 6 at 17.00! The first three are part of Loud Matter playing on Østre on Wednesday September 4, while Jiska Huizing and Rudi Valdersnes from Ideophone Records release their new album IDE002 the coming weekend.
Reality-based Audio Workshop will work experimentally with documentary audio recordings in Struer 23.08 – 07.09.2019 to create a new sound piece to be presented during Struer Tracks 2019. The group will address issues around ‘land use’ to highlight changes in the landscape that is happening because of our ever-increasing reliance on digital, global communications.
In collaboration with Playdate, BEK presents Loud Matter and Medikal at Østre Wednesday September 4th – two acts that have an experimental approach towards electronic music and live performance.
Erin Sexton will be in residence at BEK September 2nd – 15th with her project Contingency Planning in collaboration with dance artist Yohei Hamada.
