In April Trond Lossius, director of BEK, will be doing a 2 week research visit to the the real-time musical interactions team at IRCAM in Paris. The visit is funded as a short-term scientific mission by the COST Action on Sonic Interaction Design.
ComputerMusic4Kids is an interactive installation for kids, inviting them to explore the history and sound of gaming consoles. The installation is included in the “Avgarde special” Saturday 5. of December. Opening at 16.00, schoolchildren will perform their own composed music, and some of the music the BIT20 Ensemble is playing. From 18.00 until midnight the ensemble takes over and will play music written for the ensemble, some freshly made and some “classics”.
This one-week workshop will look into the basics and the advanced use of the FTM&Co extensions for Max/MSP for interactive real-time musical and artistic applications.
