Summer Holiday

BEK will be closed for summer holidays throughout July, while a handful of artists continue working in our studios behind the scenes. We wish all our collaborators, friends and visitors a wonderful summer and look forward to welcoming you back in August.
As we return from the summer break, we look forward to welcoming you back with a new programme of workshops and events throughout August. The autumn programme begins with the next TouchDesigner Meetup on Friday 14 August, part of an ongoing series introducing the core principles of visual programming through hands-on exploration. It is followed by Nest with sound artist pantea on Tuesday–Thursday 18–20 August, a three-day workshop exploring listening as a social and collective practice, inviting participants to reflect on nesting, rest and refusal as ways of relating to environments, communities and more-than-human worlds.
We also invite you to join us for our season-opening gathering on our rooftop and in our spaces at C. Sundts gate 55 on Friday 21 August. Our annual rooftop celebration brings together artists, collaborators, neighbours and curious newcomers for conversations, presentations and a first look at what is happening at BEK this autumn.
More information about the workshop programme and Rooftop Night will be announced in the beginning of August.
