Soundcamp
Published
On 2 – 3 May Reveil will make its thirteenth annual day-long loop of earth, travelling west on live audio feeds sent in by streamers around sunrise. Reveil brings us together at a distance around its ephemeral streams from rural and urban places – birds, amphibians, weather and sounds we cannot identify.
Saturday and Sunday 2 – 3 May
BEK, C. Sundts gate 55, floor 9.
Mort Drew, artist and co-director of Soundcamp Cooperative, will host a Soundcamp at BEK. Sharing their interests and research in alternative modes of being with, using technologies such as Internet Relay Chat, micro fm networks, and digital environmental live audio feeds. We invite you to join a collective, slow, and long-durational listening event to explore listening in simultaneity to situations and sounds away from our selves.
