The commissioned work Odd Mirrors is a site-specific sound and video installation where artists Maia Urstad and Maria Øy Lojo works with abstractions around the theme light. A large projection screen and surround speakers will give the children a feeling of mystery and anticipation.
The material used in the installation is obtained partly from the recording of sounds in the atmosphere and video footage of water and of the room at Barnas Hus where the installation is taking place.
The work is curated by Barnas Kulturhus in collaboration with BEK and is presented from the 27th of November to the 17th of December 2010.
