Tim Place (Electrotap/74 Objects), Nils Peters (CNMAT – The Center for New Music and Audio Technologies, UC Berkeley), Nathan Wolek (Digital Arts Program, Stetson University) and Trond Lossius (BEK) are meeting up in Kansas City for a one week developer workshop. The workshop will be targeting audio support in Jamoma, with an emphasis on development of libraries for spatial audio, multichannel audio support in Max and other hosting environments, and abilities for turning audio graphs into AudioUnit plug-ins.
Friday evening there will be an improvisational concert featuring the artists and programmers behind Jamoma at Charlotte Street Foundation’s Urban Culture Project. The concert is a collaboration with the Kansas City Max Users Group and the Kansas City Electronic Music and Arts Alliance.
