Picture Me Dance is a collaboration project between artist Fredrik Rysjedal and the contemporary dancer Marit Loe Bjørnstad. The project will consist of three acts, and the first of them, “My Old Kimono”, will be shown at Octoberdans in Bergen 21. 10. 2012. BEK supports the project with equipment.

A twittering, metallic feedback construction is being exhibited at Prøverommet October 1. It has been developed at BEK as the first part of An Index of Collisions, a cross-disciplinary project relating to theater, installation and concert. Contributing artists are Hild Borchgrevink, Tor Kristian Liseth, Øystein Nesheim, Roar Sletteland, Thorolf Thuestad and Øyvind Ådland.

Apparently there are underwater forests, drowned under the river Thames. Ancient forests of dead trees. Creeping willows, weeping willows, yaws, oaks. I have a forest right in my chest. First there were just seeds, but then the seeds spurred into trees in my lungs. A whole forest in my chest.

The theater play Londinium by Demian Vitanza is produced and directed by Sandsund & Lie.

Rad#4 er et sekstimers kunstarrangement i Latinskolen fra 1706, i Mesterlektien, den 16.juni kl 18.00.
Programmet består av opplesninger fra tekster valgt ut av et antall inviterte lesere. Utvalget er igjen satt sammen til en komposisjon av opplesning, foredrag, lyd, musikk, mat, performative grep, poesi og film.

The theater production Urmakarens hjarte (The Heart of the Watchmaker) is an adventurous thriller for youngsters inspired by Norwegian folk mythology and modern fantasy literature.

Trond Lossius from BEK has contributed to the project thorugh the development of a custom 16-channel live audio spatialisation system, utilizing Jamoma.

Marieke Verbiesen will be in Copenhagen to give a live animation workshop and collaborative performance at the Click New Media Art Festival in Helsingør Denmark.
