For the one-day mini-festival GJENLYD the contemporary music scene in Bergen will be celebrating local hero Morten Eide Pedersen, new music pioneer Pierre Boulez and compositional contortionist Ruben Sverre Gjertsen – whose music is famously impossible to play.

Among other, you can experience Trond Lossius’ installation where he uses material that the composer, teacher and driving force in Bergen contemporary music scene, Morten Eide Pedersen, left behind.

Eva Pfitzenmaier: ord/word/Wort & land/land/Land
Ord_word_wort

ord, word, Wort & land, land, Land. The words are (almost) identical.

ord/word/Wort & land/land/Land is part concert, part performing arts. Through music, text, and video Eva Pfitzenmaier recounts her own experiences and observations from two societies, two countries, and three languages. How are they connected and how do they differ from each other?

The performance is a co-production between BEK, BIT Teatergarasjen and Bergen Kjøtt.
