On June 15-16th we are organizing a kickstart workshop in the 3d modelling software Sketchup at BEK.

Sketchup is a free 3d modeling software that can be used to draw up spaces for placement of installations and equipment, and it has a wide range of drawing applications. It is specifically very useful for sketching out gallery-, theatre- and concert spaces in 3d, as well as for making more detailed construction drawings for placement of walls, electricity, lamps, sound- and video equipment, projections and other spatial visualization.

The course is free and will be held by archtitect-turned-soundengineer Jan Willem Hagenbeek(NL).

The software is free and can be downloaded for both pc and mac, participants should
bring their own laptop. Download Sketchup here.

Thursday June 15th from 19:00 – ca. 22:00: Introduction to Sketchup, learning the basics.

For those who can join two days the course will continue on Friday.
Friday June 16th from 13:00 – 16:00: More extended and individual help.
