BEK is part of an international team of developers working on Jamoma – a software library for structured and advanced work with multimedia in music and stage productions, media installations, interactive art projects, research, etc.

The developers meet for annual workshops, and previous workshops have been hosted by GMEA Centre National de Creation Musicale d’Albi Tarn, iMal, Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology, McGill University, Montreal, University of Oslo and BEK. This workshop is a collaboration between BEK and Blue Yeti, CNMAT at UC Berkeley, didascalie.net, Electrotap Inc, fourMs lab at the University of Oslo, Galamus, GMEA and Ircam.

This year, BEK hosts the workshop as part of our focus on international cooperation towards developing better tools and strategies for different electronic art environments. While this workshop is not open to the public, the first version of the schedule has been published on the forum. Feel free to send a message to suggest a particular subject you would like us to work on.
