…getting lost is not always a bad thing. One might even consider misdirecting a stranger for his own good (Ivan Vladislavic in Portrait with Keys).

This quote is a starting point for Edge of Wrong and BEKs workshop where collecting, archiving and presenting sound and images is the main agenda.

By exploring the sense of being lost, even in your own city, the workshop participants will seek out ambiguous, transitory spaces, the margins of the city, and locations of flux, disorder and uncertainty. Through a rigorous process of digital collection, a highly networked digital archive of audio and video fragments will be assembled. A performance of live instrumentation and digital projection sourced from the archive will conclude the city’s exploration.

We will serve soup to everybody who takes the opportunity to join us.
Welcome !!

Edge of Wrong residency/tour is supported by Music Norway, Norsk Jazzforum og PNEK.
